Position Overview

Beitzel Corporation is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Foreman to join our Beitzel Electrical team. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship, and is eager to guide and support a crew through diverse and dynamic projects. As a Foreman, you’ll be expected to provide daily supervision and coordination while also working alongside your team to complete tasks efficiently and safely. This role involves physical labor and requires a thorough understanding of industrial electrical systems, construction methods, and the products and services offered by Beitzel Corporation.

 

Our projects span multiple industries—including construction, manufacturing, power plants, commercial facilities, aggregate, oil and gas, factories, production plants, coal, solar, and wind energy—so no two days are the same. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and must be flexible with their schedule, as the role requires frequent travel throughout the week with overnight stays, extended hours, and occasional weekend, holiday, or night shift work. Strong communication skills, proven leadership experience, and the ability to read blueprints and job specifications are essential. What You'll Do

  • Lead and perform electrical installations and troubleshooting
  • Provide labor to industrial trades and to various construction and industrial projects
  • Communicate equipment and supply needs to both Electrical field personnel and management
  • Prepare time and material (T&M tickets), receipts, and other paperwork as required by the job
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the installation of concrete pours and finishes, building and preparing forms, rebar, masonry, block laying, pipefitting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching and general labor as required
  • Provide detailed reports, paperwork, and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping, billing and inventory
  • Lead, train, and mentor Field Services employees

 

Working Conditions

  • Walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
  • Kneel, stoop, bend, squat, and climb a ladder
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Work at a variety of heights
  • Work in confined spaces
  • Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather
  • Perform duties on-site and underground at industrial locations

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years of electrical experience is preferred
  • Must possess a Journeyman’s Electrical License from at least one state (MD preferred)
  • MSHA-WV Electrical License is preferred
  • S. Department of Labor (MSHA) Qualified Electrician
  • State of West Virginia, Office of Miners’ Health, Safety & Training Certified Electrician preferred
  • State of West Virginia, State Fire Marshal Master Electricians License or Equivalent preferred
  • State of Maryland, Master Electricians License is preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Industrial Services is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and employee training abilities preferred
  • Skillful in coordinating and prioritizing work
