Beitzel Corporation is now hiring one full-time Shop Equipment Operator. The Shop Equipment Operator will operate the various pieces of material processing equipment in both of Beitzel Corporation’s F&M Shops. This is considered a skilled position that requires knowledge of various pieces of metal processing equipment, rigging/material handling, and fabrication knowledge, as well as knowledge of various plates, sheets and structural shapes in steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized metals. The various pieces of processing equipment includes (but is not limited to): CNC Press Brake, Manual Press Brake, Hydraulic Shear, CNC Laser, CNC Plasma Table, CNC Python, Vertical Band Saw, Horizonal Band Saw, CNC Band Saw, Tiger Stop, Iron Worker and Plate Roll. This position has tiered levels based upon the complexity/amount of equipment an employee can expertly operate.
This individual will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of industrial fabrication and must be proficient with the products and services offered by Beitzel Corporation and must be flexible and willing to work extended hours as needed. The Shop Equipment Operator will report to the Shop Foreman and will work primarily out of both Beitzel Fabrication & Machining Shop locations.
