Beitzel Corporation is now accepting applications for (1) full-time Personnel Coordinator - Field Services. The Personnel Coordinator - Field Services will be responsible for assisting the Vice President of Projects in managing all aspects of Personnel Management originating out of Field Services. The Personnel Coordinator must be available after-hours and weekends and/or during set scheduled on-call rotations to answer calls from Beitzel personnel. This position must have a general understanding of all aspects of field operations and must be proficient in understanding the personnel skillsets required to be an industry leader. 

This individual will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of personnel management and must be proficient with the products and services offered by Beitzel Corporation and must be flexible and willing to work extended hours as needed.

 

The Personnel Coordinator will report to the Vice President of Contracts and the Vice President of Projects and will work primarily out of the Beitzel Corporate location.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare information for field personnel including hotel locations, job locations, equipment assignments, etc.
  • Upon receipt of order, coordinate with the managers on staffing and accommodation needs
  • Maintain the long-term manpower schedules and notify the management of deficiencies
  • Communicate personnel, equipment, and supply needs to the Vice President of Projects
  • Serve as a mentor and team leader to Field Services personnel
  • Coordinate the scheduling of Field Services personnel under the direction of the Vice President of Projects
  • Coordinate training as needed by the Group Managers, Project Managers, and field personnel
  • Call meetings as needed with the management and others to address staffing and training concerns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one (1) year of Oil and Gas Services and/or Industrial Construction experience or equivalent/relevant education and experience
  • General knowledge of Oil and Gas Services and/or Industrial Construction
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately
  • Practical knowledge of office procedures and customer relations
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Skill in dealing with the public in a manner which will facilitate any constructive problem solving possible
  • Ability to work under stress and handle stressful situations
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and software packages including specific knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  1. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
