Beitzel Corporation is now accepting applications for (1) full-time Facilities Engineer. The Facilities Engineer must be highly motivated and self-driven to help grow its Production, Maintenance, and Gathering/Midstream business. The role of the Facilities Engineer is to provide engineering, quoting, and field oversight for oil and gas facilities related work in the Services Group of the Field Services Division. The Facilities Engineer will focus on existing customer needs along with growing the production/midstream facilities and maintenance work volume. This position will report to the Group Manager of the Services Group and will help support all production/facilities/gathering/midstream engineering efforts within the group. The Facilities Engineer will assist in supervising the daily operations of the facilities personnel and will be based out of the corporate office in Grantsville, MD. The role must be flexible with telecommuting, office, and field work. A large portion of the Facilities Engineer’s time will be spent on customer sites providing quotes and/or conducting/overseeing installation, repair, or maintenance operations. The Facilities Engineer will have autonomy in schedule management to best grow and manage the facilities/maintenance business.

Candidates must be flexible and willing to work extended hours to include weekends, holidays, evenings and occasional overnight/out-of-town work. The Facilities Engineer will work out of the Corporate Office, located in Grantsville, Md. and report to the Group Manager of the Services Group in Field Services.


  • Responsible for a diverse range of complex assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation, and judgment and may direct the work of other engineers and or/support staff
  • Assist customers with designing equipment/components to innovatively solve problems
  • Provide quotes to customers both externally and internally (internally for multi-trade bidding)
  • Oversee and conduct field operations related to facilities installation, maintenance, and repair operations
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices
  • Stay up-to-date on cutting-edge technologies and industry trends
  • Monitor industry regulations and assist customers with interpretation and implementation as it relates to their business
  • Work on a combination of engineering specialties covering more than one discipline
  • Work closely with sales and leadership to identify future potential business growth scoping opportunities
  • Assist the accounting team with project cost tracking/invoicing
  • Aid other field personnel as needed
  • Provide daily operations updates to Operations Management
  • Frequently provide individual/team performance feedback to individuals along with leadership



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar)
  • 5 Years of oil and gas related experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of oil and gas production/gathering/midstream facilities construction, maintenance, repair, and operations
  • Mechanical ability and experience with performing hands-on installation/maintenance/repair
  • Thorough understanding of separation, dehydration, and compression
  • Strong knowledge of equipment sizing and specifications
  • This position is subject to the Beitzel Corporation Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy which includes: pre-employment testing, post-accident testing, reasonable suspicion testing, return to duty testing, and follow-up testing


  • EIT or Professional Engineer
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks

 Working Conditions:

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  1. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
