    Beitzel Corporation is now accepting applications for (1) full-time Field Administrator.  The Field Administrator will assist in coordinating daily activities of field operations. This involves processing invoices and shipping documentation, coordination of timesheets for employees, fielding supply inquiries, and managing office related communications for field personnel. He/She must be available after hours and weekends as needed. He/she will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of day to day operations of a field job. This position, as with any position at Beitzel Corporation is also responsible for understanding and enforcing the safety requirements of any company work location.

     

    Reporting to the Group Manager, the Field Administrator will be dispatched from the Beitzel Corporate Headquarters location in Grantsville, MD and will report to Mt. Storm, WV.

    Responsibilities

    Safety:

    In all actions, employee will promote a culture of safety and empower other employees to express any safety related concerns, including stop work authority for every employee.

     

    Administration:

    This position is responsible for the timely and efficient administration of field office activities to include:

    • Coding, processing, and submitting invoices, and reclassifications.
    • Signs for field deliveries when needed.
    • Tracking and processing shipping/receiving documentation, logs, etc.
    • Coordinates employee time cards and submitting employee hours to the office.
    • Assists the timely arrival of supplies for Field Service personnel.
    • Coordinates and administrates paperwork for Field Services.
    • Prepare progress reports for Field Management as necessary.
    • Research any material discrepancies.
    • Arranges and participates in field-related meetings.
    • Maintain job files on computer system, as well as the company database.
    • Runs errands whenever necessary.
    • Assists in completing project closeout documents.
    • Acts as a liaison between Field Management, Contract Management, Project Management Teams, and Administrative Staff.

    Qualifications

    • Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Knowledgeable of industrial construction language.
    • Experience in processing purchase orders, invoices, time cards and other construction related documentation a plus.
    • Must have strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and project management software.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred.
    • Must have strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to multi-task and adjust accordingly in dynamic environment.

    1. Regularly walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects and turn tools; reach and extend hands and arms; crawl, kneel and lay
    2. The employee will frequent lift, handle and maneuver engine parts and components and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted
    3. Must be safety and customer-focused, without exception
    4. Required safety equipment: Steel toe and/or metatarsal shoes, protective eye wear, hard hat, hearing protection, protective goggles, masks, face shields, welding gloves, etc.

     

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

    1. Must possess a valid state driver’s license prior to employment
    2. This position requires the completion of a thorough background check including driving, employment and education verification, SSN eVerify, employment references, and pre-employment drug screening.
